Certified Silver KonMari Consultant Christine Thorn of Connecticut is taking her popular presentations on Marie Kondo’s tidying and decluttering method to the virtual realm with online events May 13 and 14.

Thorn, who offers KonMari consulting and professional organizing under her Sage of Interiors business brand, booked a series of public library presentations this spring and summer before coronavirus pandemic social distancing precautions intervened.

So far, two scheduled presentations have been moved online by the sponsoring libraries.

Beginning at 6:30 May 14, Thorn will present “How to Organize Your Home the Marie Kondo Way” via Zoom, sponsored by the Morris Public Library Online program.

Guests may register for the free event through the library’s event page, https://morrispubliclibrary.net/library-calendar-event-registration/, or register by sending an email to [email protected]. In return you’ll receive a link that will enable you to join the presentation, which will include a question-and-answer period

In its program description, the Morris library notes that Thorn also provides illustrations of the transformations achieved in people’s homes and the positive impact of those transformations.

(Those transformations have expanded to include workplace tidying and decluttering—made possible as coronavirus social distancing has left workplaces empty … except for the clutter. Thorn chronicles the transformation of her husband’s workplace office in the latest Sage of Interiors blog post.)

About Christine Thorn & KonMari

Christine Thorn constantly updates her KonMari presentations by including such elements as folding demonstrations and emphasizing the importance of creating balance in life. She also summons her wisdom from nearly three decades of helping people with their body, mind, and spirit as a Chiropractor, Reflexologist, Reiki Master Practitioner, and Acupuncturist.

The energy healing of Reiki and KonMari share cleansing and liberating qualities, which Thorn has summarized by saying, “Clearing out mentally, clearing your house out physically, the result is the same—a lightness, clarity, honoring yourself, loving yourself and being more peaceful.”

In addition to her presentations on Marie Kondo and KonMari, Thorn helps her Connecticut clients create living spaces of comfort and serenity shares through the KonMari Method.

These formal KonMari tidying sessions are now taking place virtually via Zoom during the coronavirus pandemic.
